万宝龙(Montblanc)的历史

1906年，文具商Claus-Johannes Voss、银行家Alfred Nehemias与工程师August Eberstein发现了“现代”新世纪的符号。独创性与想象力帮助钢笔在科技与商业领域取得作为书写工具的突破地位。这三人决定生产钢笔，为未来取得全球成功的万宝龙这一“合资”公司奠定了基石。

1909年 推出经过技术改进的钢笔—“万宝龙”。其名称Montblanc(万宝龙)被注册为商标，并被用于该公司生产的所有书写工具。

1913年 该品牌的标志—万宝龙之星诞生。从那时起，万宝龙产品都带有这个明确无误的圆星，代表着白雪覆盖的勃朗峰—欧洲山脉的最高峰，象征着该品牌对于至尊品质及欧洲顶尖工艺的承诺。

1924年 发布传奇性的Meisterstück，开辟了世界最知名书写工具厂商的成功之路。

1997 Foundation of Montblanc Montre S.A. in Le Locle in the Swiss Jura.

Launch of the Meisterstück Watch Collection, products of the highest craftsmanship, at the SIHH (Salon International Haute Horlogerie) in Geneva.

April 2002 At the “Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie – SIHH” in Geneva, Montblanc presents the “Profile Collection” - Montblanc’s first collection of rectangular wristwatches.

April 2003 At the “Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie – SIHH” in Geneva, Montblanc presents the new watch model TimeWalker.

Oct. 2003 Launch of the new watch collection TimeWalker. Behind the avant-garde design there is a mechanical movement with automatic winder and the uncompromising quality of Montblanc, produced by Montblanc Montre SA in Le Locle, Switzerland, in accordance with the high standards of traditional watch making craftsmanship.

April 2005 At the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) in Geneva, Montblanc presents its new watch models. The hero is the Star XXXL Chrono GMT Automatic, made of 18-carat red gold. Other highlights are the Lady Chrono Diamonds, the Sport Lady Jewels and the TimeWalker GMT Automatic.

April 2006 The highlights of this year are the Profile Lady Elegance Diamonds Limited 3 Edition, the Star Chrono GMT Perpetual Calendar and the Sport Tantalum Automatic.

April 2007 At the SIHH 2007 Montblanc presents the “Montblanc Collection Villeret 1858”– Haute Horlogerie timepieces in strictly limited editions. In October 2006, Minerva SA, headquartered in Villeret in the Bernese Jura Region, joined the Richemont Group portfolio. Montblanc has allocated substantial investments to safeguard the manufacturer’s experience and skills and preserve its know-how. An initial result of this commitment: under the designation “Institut Minerva de Recherche en Haute Horlogerie”, the manufacturer is being upgraded to an “Artisan Atelier”.

April 2008 Montblanc unveils its first movement manufactured entirely in-house by the Montblanc Watch Manufacture in Le Locle at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva: the Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph.

Oct. 2008 To coincide with the 150th Anniversary of the establishment of the former traditional watchmaking manufacture Minerva, the newly founded ‘Institut Minerva de Recherche en Haute Horlogerie’ is now ensconced in completely renovated premises in Villeret and presents in the occasion a new timepiece from the “Montblanc Collection Villeret 1858”: The Grand Tourbillon Heures Mystérieuses.
